Functional Consultant

Roles and Responsibilities:

As a Functional Consultant working within the support team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our clients. This is a fast-paced environment and you will have the opportunity to work with and develop working relationships with senior C-level executives from across the globe.

  • You will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service by ensuring our clients receive the assistance they need in a timely manner
  • You will be required to gain a thorough understanding of our client’s business practices and act responsibly to ensure that our clients’ needs are met
  • As the primary point of contact for our clients, you will be working continuously to develop and nurture healthy working relationships between them and you as you provide them with diligent customer service
  • You will be required to work cohesively with your colleagues in other departments of our company as you seek to support your client in their day-to-day operation of our software
  • You will be required to responsibly carry out daily client related activities and processes

  • Someone with previous experience in software implementation
  • Someone with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Someone with strong time management and organization skills
  • Someone who can prioritize tasks and adapt to new information efficiently
  • Someone who can analyse, troubleshoot and propose effective solutions for clients
  • Someone with the ability to review and analyse client workflows and functional requirements in order to be able to propose helpful solutions
  • Someone with the skills to identify and manage the resolution of product defects
  • Someone who can participate in the testing and approval process of new developments
  • Someone who is self-motivated with a pro-active attitude
  • Someone with the ability to work constructively in a solutions orientated team environment

 

Desired Profile:

  • Between 1 and 3 years of experience in financial services or portfolio management is a plus
  • You have the ability to analyse and present complex information in a clear, structured and concise manner
  • You are customer-focused with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • You are fluent in English (additional languages are a plus)
  • You have the ability to work independently and with others to ensure that deadlines are met
  • You offer flexibility and determination when it comes to meeting important deadlines
  • You are comfortable with and able to travelling regionally and internationally
  • You may have some knowledge of middle-office software, however full system training is provided
